How to use Hypit: from reference to video workflow
A source-based guide to installing the Hypit skill, choosing services, reviewing cost and iterating on a video with a coding agent.

1. Prepare your agent and reference
The official quickstart requires a coding agent that supports skills, such as Claude Code or Codex, and either a reference video or a creative brief. Prepare product pictures, approved voice references and other material you are permitted to use. This is a documentation-based guide, not a claim of a fresh end-to-end benchmark.
2. Install the skill
The official installation command is: npx skills add hypit-ai/hypit -g. Open your project in the coding agent. The skill supplies production guidance; the executable tools provide the actual operations. The agent can help prepare missing tools.
3. State what should change
For example: use my product footage as the reference, keep the three-part structure, replace the narration with this script, and prepare a vertical English version. Clear boundaries make the plan easier to review than simply requesting a viral video.
4. Choose services and review the budget
Spoken references may use WhisperX for word timing. Depending on the project, image, video and voice services may also be needed. The official workflow supports hosted and bring-your-own-service options. Review accounts, estimated cost and unknowns before authorizing paid generation.
5. Inspect and refine the output
Review captions, timing, visual consistency and product details. Ask for targeted changes and reuse suitable existing material. The official Studio can expose timeline and supported editing properties. Generation quality and elapsed time depend on the selected models and project.
